Just
four and a half hours from any main London airport will take you to Paphos
on the beautiful island of Cyprus. A 30 minute drive brings you to Trimithia
in the hills to the North West of Paphos harbour.
Our comfortable two-bedroom apartment is fully air-conditioned. It has
a double bedroom, twin bedroom, family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen,
lounge and dining area. Sliding patio doors from both the lounge and master
bedroom lead to the terrace with breathtaking views of the coast and Mediterranean
Sea. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge for 2 people if needed. The apartment
is one row back from the large swimming pool with its generous patio area
and sun beds. There is a local taverna, amenities in the small village
of Chlorakas are within walking distance and the beach is a short drive
away. Just outside the door is a private covered parking space. There
is a bus stop outside the apartment to Paphos and the local area.
There is something for everyone on Cyprus and the Cypriots are very British
orientated; they even drive on the same side of the road as the UK. To
take full advantage of the riches this island has to offer we recommend
you hire a car or 4x4 vehicle. There have been civilizations on this island
dating back to circa 400 BC and there are many archaeological sites for
you to discover. A visit to Mount Olympus is a must, with the scenic journey
taking in traditional Cypriot villages. For the more active there is an
abundance of water sports, including scuba diving. The island also has
2 golf courses with a third under construction.
Excursions are easily arranged with 2/3 day cruises to both the Holy
Land and to the pyramids of Egypt. There are also jeep safaris to local
nature reserves on the West coast.
